The Ardrossan Castle Heritage Society will open the grounds to the famous local landmark building this Sunday, 16th April between 12pm and 3pm.

As well as giving members of the public an opportunity to get up close to the castle walls, there will be a chance to learn more about the society’s work and to volunteer to participate in their upcoming church and graveyard survey.

The society are also keen to recruit members of the community who may be interested in lending their time and skills to support the Ardrossan Castle Carnival later in the year.

The Ardrossan Castle Heritage Society was founded in 2012 by a group of local people who share a passion for preserving and developing the castle site. Further information can be found on the society’s Facebook page.
