Consultation Events on Tuesday 14 March 2017 and Wednesday 15 March 2017

North Ayrshire Council is hosting public consultation events about the design proposals for Irvine High Street and Bank Street public realm.

The proposals will concentrate on improving the roads and pavements within Irvine town centre.

Two public consultation events have been planned to give members of the public the opportunity to come along and share their views on the design proposals.

The first event will be open to the public on Tuesday 14 March 2017 from 2pm to 6.30pm and the second event on Wednesday 15 March 2017 from 1pm to 5pm.

There will also be a workshop for our local retail businesses on Wednesday 15March 2017 from 5.30pm -7.30pm. The aim of the business workshop is to provide local retailers with information on the changing nature of town centre retailing, information on courses for business owners including Planning, Marketing, Financial Control and Customer Service.

I would urge everyone to come along to one of our consultation events and speak to our team about the proposed public realm works which will improve the roads, pavements and air quality within within Irvine town centre.”

The drop in sessions and workshop will take place at 19t Bank Street, Irvine KA12 0AJ (next door to Countrywide Estate Agents).
