The Scottish International Airshow 2017 takes place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September, at the Low Green, Ayr seafront. The organisers have confirmed that the Red Arrows will close the show with a spectacular display on Sunday 3rd.

Highlights on Saturday the RAF Typhoon fighter, the Battle of Britain memorial flight – Lancaster Spitfire Hurricane. The RAF Falcons parachute team and many others. Highlight on the Sunday will be the spectacular Red Arrows aerobatic team see what’s on for the latest information.

Saturday 2nd

Site opens at 10am. Flying display finishes at 6pm.

  • Royal Marines role demonstration and beach assault featuring a Type 23 Frigate, P2000 inshore fast patrol craft, Offshore Raiding Craft,
  • Merlin helicopter and a full detachment of Royal Marines
  • The RAF Grob Tutor aerobatic display
  • MiG 15 Cold War fighter jet
  • Belgian Air Force F16 Fighting Falcon supersonic fighter jet
  • Plane Sailing’s WW2 classic Catalina Flying Boat
  • Captain Ham and the ever popular Wee Dram sea plane
  • Flying display finishes at 6 pm

Sunday 3rd

Site opens at 10am. Flying display finishes at 5pm.

The airshow takes place on the Low Green in the heart of Ayr.  The event is free to enter for the general public on Saturday and Sunday. Please note there is no Static Display event at Glasgow Prestwick Airport this year.
