North Ayrshire Foodbanks | FareShare Glasgow

North Ayrshire Foodbanks has become a member of FareShare and receives a weekly delivery of goods on a Friday afternoon.

Not all the items are useable in the Foodbank due to the short-life dates on the items (fresh fruit and vegetables), so to reduce the potential for waste will be issuing the food items to anyone who cares to come along to the Ardrossan Church of the Nazarene on Friday evenings between 6pm and 8pm.

As we have purchased the food it is available to anyone within our community. Remember to bring a carrier bag with you!

The food items are bread, milk, fresh fruit and vegetables. The range will differ each week and will depend upon what FareShare are able to provide.

You don’t need a food voucher to get this food – just a concern that it shouldn’t go to waste. So come along and get what you need, or pick up some fresh provisions for a friend or relative.
