North Ayrshire Council’s Money Matters Team to walk Ayrshire Coastal Path to raise money for North Ayrshire Foodbanks

North Ayrshire Council’s Health and Social Care Money Matters Team will be walking the Ayrshire Coastal Path in order to raise money for North Ayrshire Foodbanks.

All members of the Money Matters team are taking part in the fundraising either by walking or volunteering to drive the walkers to and from destination. The walk starts on Sunday, 4th September at Glenapp and will finish on Thursday, 8th September in Skelmorlie.

The walkers are using annual leave in order to do this walk and hope to raise as much money as possible.

The path stretches for 92.5 miles from Glenapp in the South to Skelmorlie in the North. First 2 stages will be the most challenging! Sunday, 4th September, Glenapp to Girvan (22.5 miles). Monday, 5th Sept Girvan to Ayr (22.5 miles). After that, the next 3 days should be easy!

Anyone who would like to sponsor the team can do so here.

Further details and sponsorship forms available by contacting Lorraine White at North Ayrshire Council.
